Session held in Libby Gardner Concert Hall.

The “Pay For Success: A Practitioner’s Story” is a panel comprised of the key project partners in Salt Lake County’s Pay for Success program launched at the end of 2015, which consisted of two social projects: (i) the Homes Not Jailsproject intended to help curb persistent homelessness, and (2) the REACH (Recovery, Engagement, Assessment, Career, and Housing) program intended to address jail recidivism.  As the nation’s first multi-platform Pay for Success platform, this partnership between government, private investors, social benefits providers and industry experts has served as a model for other evidence-based social programs across the country.  The partners on this panel will discuss lessons learned and provide insights on how to efficiently develop, fund and implement outcomes-driven social benefits programs.
