We are looking forward to having you join us this week for our Evidence Based Education Pathways discussions. As are reminder, this week’s sessions are part of a wider initiative led by Independent Sector, together with their close partners Project Evident and Results for America.

The Pathways initiative is bringing national and local leaders in the education space together with leading evidence-based practitioners, community stakeholders, businesses, funders, and government officials to explore how data and evidence-based practices can drive better education outcomes for students in areas with underperforming schools. Our goal is to build a “marketplace” for what works around evidence-based practices that connects organizations across the country

This “Pathways” convening is the second in a multi-city series that we are piloting with funding from The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. As you prepare for your participation we thought it may be useful to see a little about what we learned in Detroit. Attached is a summary of our learning from the Detroit conversation and a PDF that will give you some context for the rich discussions we had during that meeting.
